The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a celebration of the art of riding dapper on classic custom motorcycles. It is an annual charity ride event that funds prostate cancer research; in which everyone dresses up dapper and ride on!

Just like last year and other previous years, we are proud to be organising this epic event back to back in Singapore. Happening on the 27th September 2015, we were amazed by the number of riders that took part in this year’s event. The scale was a definite rise and we were so awed by it. We had a roaring success with 400+ riders locally, and raising close to USD2.2 million worldwide. Here’s a great kudos to you all!

The route started out at Spruce @ Old Bukit Timah Fire station – followed up by two pit stops at Duxton Hill and Dakota Crescent. It then ended at Marina Barrage as the final end of destination. Here are some highlights of the ride:

Starting point: Spruce @ Old Fire Station, Bukit Timah

While we were anticipating all participants for the ride to begin, riders were welcome to our photo booth and get a free printed copy of their photo.

Not forgetting an epic group shot to start off the day before the fun ride begins!

(Flagged off at 4pm.)

First pit stop: Duxton Hill (Latteria)

Second pit stop: Dakota Crescent (Tian Kee & Co.)

This lady managed to snap some shots while they were at a traffic light. Cool move!

Ending point: Marina Barrage

It’s a wrap! We hope every single one of you gentlefolks had as much fun as we do. The team at Motorwerks would like to thank you guys for participating in the event, and aided in the funds for Prostate Cancer Research. A great thank you to our volunteer marshal for all their efforts and time given to us to ensure that the route is smooth and all riders are safe on the road. (No lost sheep gets left behind!) And lastly, we would also like to thank Spruce, Tian Kee & Co., Latteria, Redbull SG, LiveStudios and The Bold Movement for the generous support throughout the event.

Till next year mates, tally-ho!
